UtilityClub was founded by two former energy retail managers who gained firsthand insight into how the industry operates. They envisioned a simpler, more customer-focused approach to help people save on their energy bills. Leveraging their deep industry expertise, UtilityClub strives to unlock the best energy plans for its customers. With over 20 years of combined experience, each founder brings unique expertise, working together to help customers achieve not only lower energy bills but also a more positive and empowering relationship with their energy bills.

Felix Baillie – Chief Executive Officer

Felix brings over a decade of hands-on experience in the Australian energy industry, beginning his journey in outbound sales and progressing to the role of Head of Sales at an Energy retailer. During his tenure, Felix played a pivotal role in expanding operations into Tasmania and led groundbreaking initiatives such as enabling energy bill payments using cryptocurrency.

As the founder and Chief Executive Officer of Utility Club, Felix combines his deep industry knowledge with a passion for customer-focused innovation. His leadership continues to drive Utility Club’s mission of delivering smarter energy solutions through cutting-edge technology, seamless digital experiences, and strong industry partnerships.

Alan Gross – Chief Operating Officer

Alan launched his career in high finance, working with global institutions such as Goldman Sachs, before transitioning to the energy sector in 2016. He served as the Head of Credit at an Energy retailer, where he oversaw risk, collections, and customer affordability strategies.

A strategic thinker with an eye for process and operational efficiency, Alan later founded a marketing company specialising in energy comparisons before co-founding Utility Club. At Utility Club, he leads operations and strategic growth, ensuring scalable infrastructure and partner success while maintaining a customer-first ethos at the core of everything the business delivers.

Oliver Knight – Sales Manager (Energy)

Oliver leads the energy sales team at Utility Club, bringing a results-driven mindset and a deep understanding of the energy landscape. Before joining Utility Club, Oliver founded and ran a successful energy efficiency company, where he worked closely with some of Australia’s leading large businesses to help them significantly reduce their energy costs through tailored solutions and strategic advice.

With a strong track record in both B2B and B2C environments, Oliver brings a unique perspective to Utility Club — combining commercial insight with a passion for customer success. His leadership plays a key role in driving Utility Club’s growth and delivering meaningful savings for customers nationwide.
